Patient Info
What will happen at the initial appointment?
The appointment will take approximately 30 minutes, which will allow us to discuss your symptoms and how they affect your quality of life. You will be examined in the presence of a female chaperone. If tests are required, these will be arranged and a plan for treatment will be discussed and agreed with you.
After each encounter whether it is a new or follow up appointment, or surgery; a letter - written in plain English - will be posted to you and copied to your GP, describing the details of the discussion and/or procedure and the course of action agreed.
